Need Help with 1966 289 that won't crank just click

Hi Guys,
I have a 1966 Mustang with a 289, that will not crank or start.

I just replaced the entire enigne loom, under dash loom, and headlight loom. Also replaced the ignition switch.

The car cranked and started the first try, I let the car run for about 15 minutes, turned it off; then tried to crank it again. this time it was a little slow cranking but turned over and started.

I let it run another 10 minutes or so, turned it off and tried to turn it over again.. Click. tried again... Click. nothing.

I've already replaced the silonid, starter, battery, battery cables.

I'm at a total loss. can anyone give me some ideas or advice.

Thanks,
jeremy

exactly what Rusty posted...

i want to say alternator...charge up the battery on a wall charger and see if she starts...then volt meter the battery and see if the ALT is doing what it's supposed to do. better to find a dead ALT now then driving on the freeway in rush hour traffic...it really sux and i had to relieve myself on the side of the road while I waited for the towtruck.

if the alt is dead, you're running the car off of the battery...since it's not charging, you drain it...hence the second weak start and 3rd no start.
