Need some mesurement from your TriAx or stock 03/04 Cobra shifter.

Hello.
If I'm not mistaking the 03/04 Mustang Cobra shift knob has a 12mm X 1.75 thread pattern but I was wondering how long the tip of the stick has to be machined down to accept the Knob ?



Here's a picture of the Steeda triax handle what I'd like to know is just the lenght of the tip .

This will really help me , this is for a project of mine.

It's 1 13/16 from the shoulder to the tip. Don't know the thread count.
I replaced my handle with a Rock Crusher.
