new car on the block?

anybody know anything first hand about the new charger? haven't seen any stories yet. I have only seen a couple of them. some guy at work said his friend just got one, and smacks mustangs around.

I haven't dealt with any myself but there was a Mach guy over on SVTperformance that went with one from a highway speed roll well over a 100 and he said he only beat him by a car length or so. The R/Ts are supposed to be around high 13s-low 14s quarter mile. The Charger SRT-8 with the 6.1L may dip into the high 12s! Once Dodge does the Challenger coupe and loses a few hundred pounds and adds a manual, they'll have a serious pony car contender.
As for the Charger, I'd buy one. Both my wife and I like them as they'd make a great sports sedan.
