New member mew car needing some help

Hello to you all

My name is Ashley and I used to own a 89 GT back 6 yrs ago and last week I just bought a 2000 GT and lovin it but I need some help with my car

I am noticing a miss in the engine sputering exhaust node and lack of power with slight rough idle and definate engine missing in the RPM band now I never worked on a 4.6 and there is no distributor but individual ones on the plugs itself is the 4.6 known for miss firing because I could look for something if I knew what to look for I am definately not mechanically deficent but this motor is confusing

The first thing, especially with a used car, to do is change the plugs, oil and filter change, fuel filter and all. See if that helps with the problem. As far as the 'individual distributer' that is know as coil on plugs. You could possibly have a bad coil but I'd do the plugs first.
