New Owner, What Kind Of Maintenance Should I Consider Doing?

Just recently bought my first mustang, I've always wanted one but never really had the money for it. That is until I saw an awesome deal for a 1996 V6 with 60,000 miles on a new engine, and I walked out of the dealer with it for 1300 dollars.

Of course, for 1300 dollars, the thing is far from perfect. It's got some pretty bad rust spots on it, and I plan on dealing with that down the road. Just from the looks of it, this car was owned by a kid who either didn't have the money to take care of it, the know-how, or just the care to do it.

The engine is very clean, however driving it home the first time I thought I smelled a slight hint of gasoline. If I smell it again, I plan on replacing the fuel pressure regulator as there are no visible leaks along the fuel lines. I also planning on putting a new full set of brakes and tires.

What more should I consider doing in order to make sure this thing runs another 50-60 thousand miles?
