I am restoring a 69 and would like some help on the next area I am facing at the moment. I have searched and am still undecided on the direction I would like to go concerning the point below and any help would be greatly appreciated.
1. My engine is almost complete and he is recommending at least 1 3/4" primaries on the headers. After rising from the floor after sticker shock I am wondering what would be the ballpark loss of hp/tq would be to using 1 5/8" instead with the car being a weekend criuser using the engine build as follows. 408 Windsor, alum. heads, dual plane intake at 10.3 cr.
