Hi guys, I've read a couple different posts where guys replaced just the tweeters with their mach 460, but the threads didn't go in to much detail. Basically every piece of my mach 460 was replaced about a year ago, some pieces replaced twice, now the warranty is up and one of the tweeters is blown.
I was wondering if I can replace just the tweeters with any other aftermarket tweeters, they just run off the head unit right? I have a kenwood headunit so if that's the case I'll just order up 4 decent tweeters. I'm aware that the so called "subs" are run off of the amps.
When I blew a few of the tweeters a while back it was causing a short in my car and I had to get jumpstarted a couple times because of battery drainage, well it's up to that again so I wanna get this taken care of.
