Roush newbie here... looking for advice

car is a 2000 s-281 non s/c about 52k miles andas of the other day.. it seems as if i had to gas it a little to get the car started. this happened about two different times within a couple of days but once it was started everything seemed normal. then it happened again and after gassing it like the other two times it would start and then just stall on me... it ran fine as long as i was always revving. mechanic slash friend told me he cleaned out the "iad" i believe that is what he said and he wasnt positive that this would be the fix but it is working for now. when i first took it in to him i told him it seemed as if i just needed to have the idle turned up a little and now that it is back it seems as if that maybe what he has done...it seems to idle around 800 rpms now. and i think that is a little high compared to before... any help would be greatly appreciated

It sounds like it could be a idle sensor problem. This sensor will sense when your idle lowers so the engine won't stall. Thats why you have to keep reving your engine so it will not stall. Did you im me? I hope this helps
