Attended the Bradenton NMRA Kick-off Ford Event last week.
Decided to put the car in the show and just watch the races. I know it's not as "exciting" as the racing events, but considering I have only won some awards at some local events (and never more than one per show) it was exciting to win 3 at a national event with lots of cars in various categories.
There were about 250 Fords in the show and about 200 were all varieties of Mustangs. Took home 3 AWARDS:
1. Special Recognition-Top 25 total cars (no special reason)
2. Editors Choice-Voted on by sponsors and judges..Winner for "Best Modern Mustang" (no years were defined, just "modern"). There was one for "classic" and one for "modern"
3. People's Choice- "Best Engine"- This was voted on ONLY by participants in the show.
Really happy since this is a big event, not just a local "Joe's Tavern Community Car Show" LOL. Was lots of fun
