I own a San Jose built '66 Fastback Deluxe that I bought from the original owner in San Diego in 1982. I don't think it had the original 289 when I got it, and someone added a hood scoop and hood pins. I'm keeping the suspension, body, interior and paint stock, but I'm doing the popular 5.0/T5 swap, with a Vortech supercharger. The car is an original 'A' code/C4 car. My new engine was built by Larry Leifert, who built cars and engines for Paul Newman.
