o2 sensor repair? can anyone help?

my 96GT has BBK stainless x-pipe and i cant pass inspection due to my check engine light being on. the sensors are bypassed (i believe) and i think i can drill the hole and repair this myself. if anyone knows the solution i would be much abliged??

i think you're going to have to give a few more details. what kind of inspection, just a diagnostic check or do they use an exhaust sniffer? are your rear sensors not there but the wiring connectors are just hanging disconnected? if the rear connectors are there you can get rear sensors an do the "spark plug anti foul" trick then reset your computer.

you need to go get the codes before anyone can help you. then you need to know if the o2's are there or not.

chances are the cel is on due to not having cats and the rear o2's pick up that something is wrong. in which case you need mil's for the rear o2's

auto zone or advanced auto will read your codes for free. write them down.
