O2's & Full Length Headers

Looking at Lars D's post on O2 Sensors got me to thinking, and I should have asked this before I bought a new set of Ford Motorcraft O2 Sensors.
Are there any peticular brand of O2 Sensor that performs better on a set of full length headers than another, or are they all basicly the same? Any opinions?

I believe I read or heard at one time that on full length headers because of the O2 sensor being farther down the exhaust stream as compared to a regular style H pipe, the sensors need to be kept fresh to perform as well as as a sensor in the stock location?

The issue with the O2's inside LT's is that they cool down at idle on some cars. This is a temperature issue rather than an age issue, per se.
