If you have a jack, jack stands, basic tools and a little patience you could do it yourself. Heck, with the money you save on labor your could buy a jack and stands even. Half the fun of having a mustang is doing your own modifications IMO.

His right...not that hard maybe take a hour. You will be amazed when you see how light the off road H pipe is to the stock H pipe.

O if you do it your self and have trouble with the header bolts...spray a little WD-40 on them and let it set works great.. When you start up the car it will smoke a little from the wd-40 burning off.

Mr. Yount you hit the nail rite on the head!! I talked to him today.Seems he was going to do it for a cash deal, but his boss wont let him because they are a inspection certified shop! New Jersey is pretty strick with emissions, and he didnt want to get in trouble.

When it comes to exhaust systems, many shops are reluctant to even touch anything that isn't factory stock because the fines they are subject to if convicted of doing something they shouldn't are sizable. That's why I asked the question - kind of thought they wouldn't want to touch it. He may be able to do it for you on the side -- not at the shop.
