oil in the intake runners??

Ok guys I have another problem! I just pulled my intake off and I have oil in the intake ports of the heads, intake, and all over my intake gaskets???? I mean its everywhere just puddles of oil everywhere where the intake sits on the heads??? Whats causing this? I am taking the engine out to rebuild it even tho its only got about 2500 miles on an MMR forged 900 shortblock but i have bad luck with everything so it figures. Can someone tell me what the problem is or what could cause this?? Thank you guys



I have heard that the PCV can do this on a highly modded N/a or supercharged application so i checked my PCV lines and there doesnt look like there is any traces of oil in them. Maybe just a tad in the line that connects to the valve inself but thats it.

It has to be coming from the pcv in the form of blow by. How's it performing at the track? You could do a compression check.

Yea tons of oil is not good. Is there any oil on the plugs, near the electrode? You might have worn rings. Either that, or they did not seat properly.

Nope no oil on the plugs which is a good sign, I think its just excessive blow by but there isnt any oil in the pcv lines???

Ok, I think the PCV is allowing oil to get into the system. Buy a new PCV from Ford and an oil separator to trap the oil in the intake system.
