functional and needed, because a rwd 500hp race car would actually need one, unlike those silly ricers.Stangfreak95 said:I know man I hate this. Although it is a race car and the wing is functional.
VIPERn94Five-0 said:that is not a rice stang in any sense of the word... some of you guys are ridiculous....its a fully functional race car...I'm amazed that people would call it rice. Building a race car is not about winning beauty contests(although i think its great looking) its about crossing the finish line first...the Y2k Cbra R's wing is just as big as that is and this new concept car would beat the Y2K R like a redheaded step child. But i dont see anyone calling the Y2K R ricey....i wonder if you realize how important that wing is to high speed stability, remember why the 03 Cobra is limited to 155mph?? because without the Y2K R's wing its unstable at speeds higher than that? and the Carbon fiber and composite body panels?? essential at the highest levels of racing, which it seems this car was built for. i say good for Ford for making this concept...and i cant wait to go down to NYC and see it at the auto show....

You're entitled to your opinion. However, one thing I find ridiculous is how much the definition of "rice" has changed. It used to be non-functional showy stuff on street cars that was meant for a race car. Now even a real race car is ricey for using a functional wing. I personally think it's a great car, for what it is built to do -- but put it on the street looking like that and I'll call the wing "ricey". There's a big difference IMHO.Green_Meanie said:My opinion is in its current state it is ricey, whether it is all functional or not, and I dont appreciate being called ridiculous for my opinion of this car.

I dont see one thing on that car that can be cosidered "rice." An aluminum wing alone is not rice, it only becomes rice once some loser in a Honduh puts it on the wrong end of their car. I think its a badass car. Plus its nice to see a "5.0" in a new Ford.Green_Meanie said:And thats fine because it is YOUR opinion. Now if it was all black, I may have a different opinion on it. as for the cobra R, the wing it has follows well with its body lines, therefore it does not look ricey, to ME.
