nice and glossy huh :nice:

The "bits" of crap on the tire are from the tape I used to tape the tire off with,

I gotta get some "Goo-Gone" stuff to take it off,
And then a nice coat of tire shine,

But they were just painted and I dont want any chemicals on them for a few days so the clearcoat can set and make brake dust easy to wipe off :)

I did the front too but no pics yet,

:nice: lol okay

I actually enjoyed doing it,
Took a lot of prep work, and this is my first time painting anything like this,
For my first go Im happy with the result :)

I actually have the other 2 to do,
It started out just re-furbishing one,
Then that one came out nice, So I had to do the other one to make the side look right,

Now I have to do the other side to make the car look right,

adds a bit of "bling" to the car lol

I used a specific wheel paint that I found on the shelfs of Wal-Mart for $3 lol,

I think its Dupli-color?
Ill go check,

But its specific for Alloy Wheels,
Its only in one shade of silver, I think I seen Bronze too,
And the clear coat is Krylon Crystal Clear,

Total was $7 inc tax for both paints,
I used one can of wheel paint per rim,
Ill go check the can now for exactly what its called

Heres what I did,

Obviously I cleaned the rims up good,
I used brake cleaner and rubbing alcohol to make sure the area was totally clean,
Then rubbed that off with water on a rag so the paint would stick to the surface,
Took off the wheel weight (yes I know there fugly but I dont have the sticky ones, If you can buy them at pepboys or something ill get them :))
Taped off the tire
Taped off the Pony in the centre cap (That took a while to make a tape template)

Then sprayed and sprayed untill the can was empty leaving time for paint to get "tacky" between coats as per instructions on the back of the can,
Then I left it for a few hours and came back with the clearcoat,
I think I did 3 or 4 coats,

Then left over night to dry in a garage,

Thats it :)

Thanks for the compliments guys :nice:

To dress up those drums, get some high temp black paint and spruce them up too. Looks a whole lot better than rusty stock stuff.
Total cost $4 including tax assuming that you have a wire wheel or a wire brush already.
