As I progress on my '98 into a '68 Cobra Mustang conversion, I'm running into differing opinions and methods to reach the correct pedal ratios between the two cars in my internet searches. Most of what I have found are people that have just "done stuff that fits" but have yet to run it.

I'm tinkering and measuring...it looks as if I could just cut down the pedal to match the dimensions of the existing pedal to match the SN95 mustang as it sat in the pedal box. It looks like I'd move the pivot point down 2" and locate it back from the fire wall 3/4" in the '68 pedal box. That would approximate the location of the 1998 cobra pedal in relationship to the hydrobooster. I'd move the clutch pedal back 3/4" as well to clear the brake pedal position. Ironically, the pedal to pushrod pin is the same length for both pedals. I think I'm on the right track (one that doesn't require cutting and threading the hydroboost pushrod for an adjustable)...thoughts and opinions welcome!
