Just read a thread that said the newer explorer motors are the same as the PI motors in the mustangs? Has anyone seen or done a swap with one of these motors, what parts do u reuse? Is the swap out longblock for longblock and just bolt back on everything else? Is the cams the same? How do the wireing harness hook back up, the same or is their cutting involved? This seems VERY interesting thats why I have asked so many questions. What kind of pistons are in it too, are they the exact same as the mustang PI motor?
