That will be fine, and gapping the 2nd ring larger is the new theory as well...it will help keep the top ring sealed and prevent ring flutter. Just make sure they are square and deburred very well... I assume this is a NA combo??

Suggested was .016-.018 for the top, and .020-.022 for the second. I think I hit under .017 on the top and under .021 for the second on all cyl's. jason
