i've been working on the car all month. My friend and I replaced the crankshaft and mainbearings and rod bearings. Exhaust parts are coming. We got the motor in yesterday, alll the wirings and stuff hooked up today. Started and ran like a champ after it burned the oil out of the cylinders. idle's perfect, sounds good, no more vibrations, couldn't be happier. Take it out for a test drive and the clutch has almost no pressure. The clutch was great before all this and the pressure plate looked fine, only one tooth was broken off. Did the cable slip out or something? What happened? can I adjust it? Please tell me I don't need to buy a new clutch... I have a centerforce dual friction in it... any help would be great...

Do you mean one of the finger-looking flanges broke off the pressure plate? I think that would just cause uneven wear on the clutch disk. I would check the clutch cable, it probably extremely loose which makes it feel like there is no pressure.
