Ok, so heres the deal, I amlooking at a 94 muastang. It was originally a v6 car that was converted to a 5.0 with aod, or aode, not quite sure. I am getting a good deal on the car because the tranny is bad. Here is my question, i want to stick with an automatic, but which one. I can aford an aod or aode but i dont know if the computer in it is aode compatible. Could that have caused that tranny to go out if it is an e. I am a t5 guy, i dont know s**t about the autos. I guess i could do a swap, but i kind of like the idea of an auto. Final question, if it is an aode, what would it hurt, or what would i have to change to put an aod in. I really appreciate the help guys.
