i have an 87 stang originally a 4 cyl...what wires can i remove in a 4 cyl. to v8 carbed conversion ...i t has no ac or heat i just want the lights blinkers and windshield washer,fuel,speedometer..i am going to install aftermarket gauges for the temp, oil, tach, and amps..the person before me has chopped the wires up and iam having a hard time where to start.
please help...wiring

Your best bet is going to be to find an Electrical and Vacuum Troubleshooting manual for your specific model year. They're available on eBay every once and a while. You'll have locate each circuit one by one and start eliminating things that way.

What I did on mine was, I took all the 4 cylinder wiring hareness off. And I rewired everything! i used some off the pigtails off the 4 cylinder harnes to keep everything working.
