I'm fortunate to not only own a mustang but also to have access to several of these cars through work. The 1970 shell is mine, the other red car pictured is one of our R@D cars at work. We have a few others as well. Ill try and get pictures of those as well.

Here's a picture of it in the morning before I had it towed away fro months. I know I just took a "selfie", it is the second time in my life to do that and in this rare case I am not ashamed, well maybe just a little. You can see the tri-color theme is not just the running bars on the horse with this car...

Last week I had it blasted by a local "Dustless Blasting" outfit, turns out they do work for "Iron Resurrection" on Velocity channel. They took off the pretty red that was painted in 1988 when I bought the car, went through the summertime yellow that was put on who knows when, then trough a few bondo patches and through the baby-blue that factory had, you can see all three colors on the trunk hinges. Here it is in bare metal....

So then the whole thing was epoxy primed to seal in the goodness, waiting for some sheetmetal from NPD to arrive this week; new trunk lid, passenger rear quarter skin, door posts, and the exterior (upper) portion of the cowl vent. All rust damage was on passenger side, driver was nearly pristine. Amazingly the underside of the cowl is okay after having been repaired before the yellow paint. The fenders are not aligned at all, held on with 2 bolts each but it is apparent that the hood will need major work to align. Here she sits while brown Santa is bringing the metal...
