They are going to replace the entire cowl, repair the hood, repaint the hood, cowl and blend in the fenders,
Thank heaven for Grundy zero deductable insurance..

That almost looks too nice to mod
If that half as nice in person, as it is in the photo, leave it alone and let it be a survivor...
So clean
Ouch! Learn the lesson from this and get these.so.................... did I tell you guys the hood flew up on me? Forgot to put the damn hood pins in.

I don't know why but I hate those things . The quick latch ones just seem so much more appealing to me .Ouch! Learn the lesson from this and get these.
What's to stop somebody from removing your hood pins as a cruel prank (or you forgetting again) and this happening again?
Welcome! And I know about cars sitting at home waiting. For me, it got to the point where I needed to either junk them or fix them. As luck would have it I found what I was looking for in a station wagon. I took apart 2 mustangs to build 1 station wagon. I guess my point is, I need ‘fire’ to get things done. You can’t just tell me to get moving on those cars. I certainly hope you caught that ‘fire’. A running and driving car is definitely better than not. Fewer complaints. The title of this thread cracked me up given the current state of my car. My '92 was my car all through college. It's been sitting for a decade and I've finally started to do something with it. I've gotten it running and just took the wheels in for new tires. I'm going to slowly try to bring it back into decent shape. This is my first post on this forum. Hopefully the next time I post, it will look a little better.
