Thanks guys!! Kooldawg6, I had some damage to the back trunk lid. I had the car two days and the neighbor girl hit the corner of the trunk with her handle bar!! Put a half dollar dent. So while I was getting that fix I went ahead and did the whole thing. But, now I think I might need somthing back there maybe somthing retro.

Thinking about it now... You'd be screwed if you needed to get into the trunk & needed the key for some reason... :p

Yeah, that would be difficult, if I used the trunk:). I have had the car 3+ years and the only time I open the trunk was to remove the spare tire and jack. I have a tire inflation kit. I have never used the trunk or back seat in the 3+ years. If it was legal I would remove the side gas cap make it smooth run the gas line to the center of the trunk. Buy an old '68 or '69 gas gap and filler up old school:D

I wish all cars had the filler in the center of the back, I hate going for gas and I can't find a pump on my side.

But becuause the tank is so far forward, the filler pipe would have to curve up and over the axle like your exhaust and I don't know if it would feed fuel properly into the tank.

Two pics for everyone....

its crazy that Ford cannot offer accessory package 1 on its new mustangs because the "deck lid panel is not available" and they "have no idea if/when it will become available from the supplier." Yet, here is a mustang with a decklid panel.

While I understand it is probably aftermarket, I dont understand why Ford cant offer one yet and they have to cancel out all of accessory package 1 because of this.

The decklid panel is available from Ford. I bought it from my local Ford vendor- took about 4 days to get. I paid $160 my cost- you have to remove the existing oversized "GT" emblem carefully from the decklid and then apply the panel which has the integrated
slightly smaller GT emblem.

New Cali-Dream Hood

I've got to do something about this "Hood Shake"! :nonono:
