Proof that I do, in fact, own a Mustang
Damn - that pulley is dirty
Wow, that thing looks pristine.
Well, I will assume you were referring to me
If so, thanks! If not, don't tell me and let me pretend
Its far from "pristine." There is all sorts of dirt hiding out in the engine bay that is just too much of a pain to get to without removing a significant amount of stuff. So, I clean what I can when I can, and it looks pretty decent, I think.
Give me a month or so to keep cleaning on it. Then you will see pristine. The thing has been sitting since last October collecting dust I have to get the pulleys and the valve covers cleaner, at least. Also need to polish up the exhaust tips. And, if I get really bored, I wouldn't mind replacing those damn rusted nuts and bolts.
suspect your car ( the last pic ) just became my wallpaper!
Yes, I was talking to you.
finally got some good pics to post up.. enjoy

the old 95
My 1994 GT... 331 stroker, Twisted Wedge heads, Track Heat intake, F-303 cam, MSD digital 6, TwEECer R/T, NX 50-150 kit, 3.73's... and a whole slew of other expensive crap...
New wheels are going on, but the motor is torn down again to fix a leak and beef up the billet power steering bracket. I should have some new pics soon though. I can't believe I joined this place in 2000... holy crap where has the time gone?
In the 3rd to the last pic, is that a nuclear reactor in the background? lol
Yes, it's the Perry Nuclear Power Plant... I live and work only a few miles from it.
BTW, here are some new pics I snapped today, got a few things left to do before it's all back together. But I'm getting there.
I did not know the fox accessory set up clears the sn95 radiator and fan did you had to do some modification?
I had to dremel a little bit of the fan shroud to make it work, but I'm also using a Fluidyne 3-core... so with a stock radiator it might fit without any modification. I wanted to keep the 94-95 waterpump to keep the clearance in front of the motor, but I couldn't find any bracket kits for a 94-95, so I swapped everything over. I also originally ran only the alternator, water pump and crank pulleys after I deleted the power steering, smog, and A/C, but I couldn't find a standard rotation pump (with ribbed WP pulley) for the 94-95 style timing cover. So that was another reason I switched to the fox style timing cover and pump.
You can see the ****ty hardware that came with the nice billet power steering pump bracket, I've since changed out those ****ty spacers for since nice thick walled aluminum stuff. My belt squealed really badly because the spacers they gave me were not even cut straight, they looked like somebody just cut them with a sawzall, and they then they started to collapse on themselves when I torqued the bolts down. I've also since upgrade my overflow bottle from the Gatorade bottle you see in that pic to a small reservoir mounted on the fender.
Washed, clay bar, and waxed the car over the weekend.
