Power window issue.

I am working on a family member's Mustang. One of the issues she is having is the drivers side window controls quit working (passenger door control still works). I took the door apart to test for power at the switch. There is not power at the switch. So I checked to see if there is power on both sides of the fuse (or circuit breaker) and there is (not a surprise since the passenger side works). If you supply power to the switch, then it will operate the window normally. So what missing link am I overlooking between the fuse box and the switch? Just wire? Seems weird that both power wires for the window failed at the same time and not any other wires (unlock control and mirror control still work fine). Are there driver's side/passenger side fuses after the circuit breaker?

She says this started immediately after changing the battery, but I don't see how that would affect it?

Thanks in advance for your advice!
