Here's my problem... I have an '06 Mustang v6... About a month ago I started to experience some problems when I started the car. First there came a beep followed by the following warning messages in the instrument panel:

  • FUEL LEVEL LOW DTE FLI DATA ERR
  • OIL PRESSURE LOW
  • BRAKE FLUID LOW
  • PARK BRAKE ON

Obviously none of these are true or else I would have some serious problems....

In addition to these error messages, the fuel and oil gauges stayed put on E and L respectively. I also noticed that the turn signals weren't appearing in the dash when in use (even though they worked on the outside)...

The engine light, parking brake light and TCS light all stay on....

I took it back to the dealer since there was only 5,000 miles on it and they replaced the smart jumper box (SJB). Well two weeks later I was getting the same problem...

For giggles I disconnected the battery and re-attached it and everything reset properly.

Has anyone come across this problem and found a permanent fix to it? I'm taking it back to the dealer this week and would like to give them some suggetions to look into....

Thanks
Coffee
