Still chipping away at the time in this car. Went to capitol raceway on Friday night and got some good runs in. First pass was just a delapitated 11.03 at 128 mph. We added some timing leaned out the air fuel by .1 and bumped up the two step by 100 rpms. Here's a video of the next pass

Played again with it since it liked more timing and added 1 more degree, and was able to pick up a couple more mph. Also got a grudge run in with a boy up there. Lost by a car and he left me on the line I didn't build any boost from the line, which has been the whole night due to boost builder not being activated. Here's a video of the run we did.

Well guys I hit my first no prep event with the car. All I can say is wow this side of racing is definitely fun and exciting. The guys over at late model performance did a great job holding the event. I unfortunately got knocked out in the first round by the guy whole ultimately won the class I was in. Either way we still stayed and did some grudge racing here's a video of me running a big turbo Camaro and driving around him on the big end. It's not how much power you make it's about how much you can put down on the road your working with. Little fisher price turbo was shining yesterday lol.

For sure. He hole shot me but closed him in up too I'm still only running wastegate pressure. The camaros a buddy of mine and he's running co2 control so he can control his boost better. I tried hooking mine up but it won't work for some reason so I had to run on a puny 6lbs of pressure

So I'm at the point of no return. I purchased a 417 motorsports tubular front end. So it came in a week or 2 ago. So today I began the tear down process of the car.

Made the ever so butt clenching cuts to the body.

All in all I made a cut further forward then needed so I'll have to make some trims but progress is progress. Hoping to have this thing welded up back in this weekend.

And that's a wrap! The tubular front end is part of the car and there's no turning back now lol. Box in a mistake that I made on the stock upper rails I think it turned out pretty good.
