proper transmission break in! need help

Just drive it and don't worry about it. There's really nothing to break in with a standard trans. Even the auto's don't require much more than bringing them up to normal operating temperature before romping on it. The clutch will feel funny (assuming you replaced it as well) for the first while until the fuzz has been "worn off" of the disk, but after that it'll drive as normal as ever.

well its gettin put in monday and my dad said i dont need to replace the clutch yet which i told him since its out and i wont get carged for the clutch install that i need to while its out. i want a kink cobra in it

Just take it easy for 500 miles or so. No banging gears hard or speed shifting. Try to avoid long highway driving or getting the trans very hot. Shift slow.

You just want to make sure the fluid circulates everywhere and all the bearings seat themselves. Nothing really special to do really
