When revving my engine I step on the gas and when I let off real quick it takes a second or 2 for it rev back down. This makes it not sound to cool and it's probably something bad. What can I do to fix this problem

yeh

also run a fullsweep test on it .. probe the middle wire (green)use a multimeter.. turn the key on.. then move the throttle.. should at full throttle be close to 5V... watch and see if there are no gaps while slowly moving the throttle to full throttle. And like Venom4.6 around .96V to .99V with the key turned on.
Good luck man

ah, the stock reciprocating mass is heavy - it will take a min to come down (as it takes a min to go up, compared to a lightened alum set up). maybe im missing something here.

a vac leak can also cause the idle to hang for a sec or two, before returning to idle.
good luck.
