Quick qestion about exhaust

wondering if a bassani x made for a 5 speed with fit on a auto? for shortys
any advice appreciated

I have a Bassani X on my '88 AOD with Bassani shorites...fits like a dream. It would on a 5 speed, too.

i read somewhere that the 02 bung might be is in a differnt possition, but other than that it will fit

sorry to hi-jack this post but iu was wonderwhat the H and X pipes do? i hung mine up on a ditch and got a fair size hole in it was wonder if thats much of a power loss?

They serve as a cross over between the two exhaust sides to equal out exhaust pressure, and they aid in power in doing so. With a hole in yours, you've got a nice exhaust leak...you need a new one, X or H either one.
