You should use gaskets yes...

I looked in your sig: do you have a taller hood? A 3/8" spacer is all that will clear with the stock hood is why I was wondering.

Yea, I have a cowl induction hood, where do you think i'd be able to pick some of these gaskets up from?

is the trick flow the same style as a holley systemax? If so the EFI truck intake gaskets will work.

This should be the part number for the gaskets you need. The Holley is differnt.

i have that same setup

and yes you will need gaskets. without them you will have a constant battle with vacuum leaks, no matter how much gasket gunk you put between them. also, if you use the 1 inch spacer with the trick flow intake and get the trick flow rounded looking valve covers, you can take your valve covers off without having to remove your intake. freaking sweet.
