quick question on the t-56

I want to put a t-56 in my 88 mustang.. I am putting a 96 4v motor in it. Is the t-56 tranny a cable clutch system, or a hydrolic system? I have also heard about this hydroboost brake thing... Is that needed for the 4.6 swap? I would like to have power brakes.

The T-56 used in the 03-04 cobra is a cable clutch just like your T-5. the hydroboost was used in the 4.6 cars for clearence issues.

you might want to ask somebody who has done this swap about keep the stock brake booster.
