Question on steering rack and vibration
I have a bad vibration between50-65mph and wanted to know if anyone has information on tightening or adjusting my steering rack. I have already checked tire pressure, wheel balance, no warped rotors, etc. I jacked up my car and turned the wheel back and forth and hear a bit of clunking. It sounds as if my steering rack has some play in it. I thought this might be the reason for my steering wheel shaking. Anyone with rack info please post. Thanks ... JP.
