Radiator Fan Motor Replacement - Need Help!

I have a 2003 GT and my radiator fan motor needs to be replaced. My car overheated yesterday so I checked it out and found that the fan wasn't coming on at all. So I replaced the 50 amp fuse for the fan because it was blown and then the fan came on but makes a knocking noise. I am guessing the fan will be going out soon and probably blowing the fuse again shortly. Auto Zone can special order the complete fan assembly w/ motor but it wouldn't be here for 4 days View attachment 145093 I can get just the motor today. They charge $144 for the complete assembly or $110 for just the motor. I can't really wait for the entire unit so I am thinking the motor is the way to go.

Is the fan motor an easy replacement? I only have basic tools and am a novice mechanic. Thanks!!!
