Rattling Noise Above 45 mph

So my car makes a pretty intense rattling noise above 45 mph or so regardless of gear it's in. It is only present under any acceleration, coasting in gear is fine. It sounds like it's coming from the front of the transmission, almost like somewhere behind and below the radio panel. Any idea what'd it be? I don't think it's knock because it's only present above that speed but I could be wrong. Timing is at 12 degrees on 93 octane.

Retard the timing a bit and see if the knock goes away. Is your car a manual or automatic? In my manual, I had quite a bit of noise until I changed the way-too-old ATF. Not rattling though really, but came from near the tailshaft. Also check your U-joints, I had one where the grease dried out and it was pretty much seized and binding. Could also be a clutch component if manual.
