Ready To Upgrade

Hey everyone!

So I have been driving my 2008 GT/CS stock for years. I want to and am ready to start modifying! As I understand it, the first mod most Mustang owners make is to upgrade to a cold air induction system or CAI (Cold Air Intake). I went and purchased myself an intake made by BBK. I chose this intake because I could mount it and drive without having to tune my car right away.

Pulling the BBK intake out of the box, I was very disappointed with the poor quality parts I received. As a machinist and pattern maker, I know a quality casting with good machining when I see it, and the aluminum manifold that came with the kit I purchased had neither. That said, I returned the BBK intake and am now back to square one. I have found another intake made by Ford Racing that I am interested in...

I was wondering if any of you could tell me anything about this kit, or if their are better kits out there?

Thanks! I look forward to future Mustang talk with everyone!
