I just bought a 99 Mustang GT and I get a clunking noise from the rear left and right tires. It only happens at low speed mostly in first gear and turning is worse. I removed the differential cover today and inspected the gears, Everything looks great. New fluid (3.75 as required) and same issue. Could this be the Ujoints or the Trac loc ?
