Hi everyone new to site I have a 67 convertible and the rear plastic window is cracked. I have a new plastic replacement window but will be getting the top redone in the future. Is there a simple way to replace it w/o having to completely remove the back part of the top? Could I use 3m weatherstripping sealant, cut out the old window and zipper in the new one? I'm just trying to patch the old until I have enough saved up to get a new top& window put in. Also are there any mustang/ classic car clubs in the Lehighton PA area? Want to make some new friends!!

hey Chris i did one a long time ago you have to take the tack strips loose at the bottom. and at the top of the window pull out all the
staples and remove the window .its not easy to line every thing up again
i would recamend doing the top and window at the same time. you have
some friends here at stangnet
