For the last three years when I drive my car for 40+ miles the car begins to stumble, studder, backfire and die. It doesn't always do it, but when is does happen the car wont start for about 20 minutes. I have posted about this problem before and read posts on many other similar problems. It seemed that if I replaced the PIP/hall/stator (many names for the electronics within the distributor) that the problem would be solved

Well, the car died on the way home today. What do I do now?

Thanks guys

It is the factory fuel pump as far as I know. I have replaced the fuel filter a couple times. Once when it died I checked the fuel pressure at the schrader valve on the fuel rail and gas squirted out so I don't think fuel is the problem.

How do I test the TFI module?
