replacing door speakers

Hey guys, My name is Jeff. I'm new. I'll get pics up as soon as I can find a digital camera.

I saw the sound forums below, but theres like 15 posts on there. I thought I might get more feedback here. I need to replace the stock door speakers. Anyone know how I would go about doing that? Or maybe specific instructions on a website somewhere?

Hey - welcome!

It's fairly easy to replace door speakers. All you need to do is remove the arm rest, then remove the door panel (be careful not to break the plastic retainer clips (use a puller to pull the retainer clips), then unscrew the speaker from the door. That's it. Nothing hard at all.

Here is a link to how to get door panels off to change actuators, but except for the actuator part, it will get you to the door speaker.

lol, i always used to just pry off the grille and super glue it back in when i was done.... hmmm, maybe i shouldn't have done it that way
