Reprogramming Keyless Entry

Nevermind I found it!! :nice:
Just in case anyone wants to know how here ya go:

96 and Newer Fords: cycle key 8 times with the doors closed. Do not start the car just cycle the key. The locks should cycle (lock and unlock) and then press the button of the FOB. FOB should now be reset! :nice:

95 and older Fords: Find the Keyless Enyry controller (Bronco's & Pickups RH side of steering colum underdash---Mustang and Exploeres LH rear QTR pannel. All other Fords should be in simaler locations.)

You must locate the 2-pin connector under the dash and jump the wires with the ignition on. The door locks will then lock/unlock to indicate you are in programming mode. Then press a key on a fob and that remote is then programmed. Continue with all fobs until all are programmed.

To determine if you have the keyless entry or dealer installed alarm system, here are the details.

The factory keyless entry module is a black box that has two connectors going to it. It also has an interface with the antenna on the radio, and the program connector nearby. This one can be difficult to locate.

One other method to determine if you have the factory keyless entry/alarm system would be to close and lock all doors. If you lift the outside handle of either front door, the lights inside should turn on.

In general, you either have one system or the other or neither, but not both. Good luck.
