Hey man, I saw your car in the Bargain News!!

I have 4.10's in my '96 GT. At 70 it runs about 2400-2500. My speedo is a little off, but that is my guess after having people drive next to me and test from there. Both my '89 and old '91 have 3.73's. The '89 is a manual and it runs about 2200 at 70. The '91 is an auto and runs about the same. I think the 3.73's are better for the 5.0 and the 4.10's for the 4.6. Most on the forum agree.

Yea, i dont wanna sell it, my parents are making me :notnice: , i figure at 5 grand it probobly wont go, and if it does, ill have plenty $$ for car stuff.

Thanks for the imput guys, im prolly gonna go with 3.73's im gonna think a little more but the imput was muchly appriciated :nice:

I have a 93 LX, just put 3.73's in.Great gear compared to stock(2.73) good gear for the highway to- 60 mph--2100rpm/70mph---2300/80mph---2500rpm when you get the gear change, buy the correct speedometer gear so they can install it when they do the gears!

Ive got a 90 LX vert that has 3.73 and 2600 nonlockup converter. 75 mph = 2600 rpm. The reason I went 3.73 w/AOD is I do a lot of hwy driving. If you have 5 sp. go 373, AOD 3.73 or 4.10 if mostly around town
