Do not use E brake on hot rotors cause they will imprint, lots of race cars my Spec Miata included have the E brake hardware removed.

When I autocrossed, I used to chock-block my car between runs.
Even when I take my car for a spin locally, when I return I typically chock the car until the brakes cool off. A bit overkill, but habit from my AutoX days
