I have BFG G-Sports on the fronts and backs.
I want to run a Hoosier Regular Bias Quick Time Pro on the rears at the track only.
I know it is not reccomended to mix radials with regular bias tires. Is it not reccomended for street use only?
Maybe it effects the cars handling ability when cornering?
There's a guy at the track I run at who pop's off his BGF's and runs a Mickey Thompson ET streets.
Thanks
Any help will be greatly appreaciated

The Not to mix radial and bias-ply tires is commonly miss interpurted. When you are told not to mix them originally it meant not to mix a bias-ply and a raidal on the same axle. This would cause non desireble handling effects. It is however ok to mix bias-ply on one axle and radial on another. Now that being said the 2 tires perform differently. Many bracket racers run a bias-ply slick on the rear and a radial tire on the front of there vehicles with no adverse effects. In a straight line you are not going to have to worry about it. It would be ok to run HOOSER slicks with your radial front street tires.
