Suspension RW - 398 HP / 411 FT.LBS, Are Subframes Needed on SN95?

  1. I'm primarily a 79-93 Fox body guy, but my wife has an '04 blown GT and was wondering do these cars need subframe connectors like the Fox body does when you hit this kind of power? I'm concerned more about body twist and flexing than her getting a good 60'. Thanks guys!
  2. No it doesnt NEED it, but they are good to have. Certainly if it was a convertible. They make a huge difference on the vert.

If you get them, get Maximum Motorsports Full Length Subs, welded in while the car is resting on its wheels.
  3. Yes get them. While a better design than the fox cars the bodies do flex still
  4. +1
  5. Short answer, no I guess you don't NEED them.

That said, the SN95 chassis needs them for the same reasons as the fox and should be one of the first mods. They were the first mod I did to my mach.
  6. +3 on you don't NEED them, but they are strongly recommended and you WILL notice a difference.
  7. absolutely a mod you will be glad you did...not a NEED but def a good idea
  8. BBK full legnth subframe connectors was my 1st mod along with Steeda upper and lower boxed rear control arms. My car had a nasty sway when shifting at highway speeds.
  9. im glad i put them on my bolt on gt. my whole car just felt alot more solid
