Is it ok for me to tap into the 12v key on source on my mass air harness to turn on my alt. As most of you know the 3g requires a seperate 12v on source and i wanted to know if this would be an ok spot?

What happened to the stock alt wiring?

That will work OK, but you might want to add a a 1 or 2 amp inline fuse between the green regulator wire and the power source.
