I have the JMS super chip in my 01 GT but I have done some Modification that is going to call for a new tune. So I was wondering which would be the better bang for my buck ? Stay with the super chip or purchase a XCalibrator 2.

I'd go with the Xcal2, but dont get it from JMS. I got one from JMS and I have detonation with each tune above 4k. I cant run the 93 tune at all. If I run the 91 tune I have to use 93 octane. anything less it will ping badly. at first I thought it was just bad fuel, but i've tried 5 different gas stations and it still happens. on top of that, another stanger in my town has an XCal2 from another supplier, runs the same 93 octane from the same gas station I tried first, and he has no detonation whatsoever.

I'm going to go against the Xcal 2 UNLESS you plan on using it to datalog or do minor tune adjustments. I had one but it did too much for what I needed. Plus I prefer the "switch on the fly" of the SCT 4 bank chip I have now.
