Seat track interchange on 96 to 02

Yes I have a 96 mustang gt how can I make a 02 power seat track to work with mine my power seat switch has 3plugs coming from the wire this one on the 02 has one bigger plug I think I can get a plug end like the big one and redo the wire and put them all in the big one and make it work has any one ever done this or any pictures of how I need to do this can any one help
